Tampa Airport Marriott

Flew to Tampa for a few days just to rest. Checked out the local restaurants, Ocean Prime steakhouse, Whiskey Joe’s on the beach, etc. This Marriott hotel located inside the airport is outstanding. Every employee here was courteous, the food at the sky lounge was fresh, drinks were excellent, as was the Kahwa coffee .

Decent room, view of the airport was interesting (watching takeoffs!), and I liked the smell of their shower products. Clean and simple and not over the top.

This location can’t be beat if you have an early flight or land late. The convenience of walking out of your room and being through security in 20 minutes is amazing. We stayed in a renovated King room and it was very nice. It was clean and perfect for an overnight stay. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is only a normal outlet on one side of the bed which we found weird. But I would stay here again in the future. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, as was the attendant doing valet.

If you need convenience and comfort for an early flight out of Tampa, look no further. We walked out of our room, through security, and to our departure gate in ten minutes. I want to credit Jade in the Concierge Room for her impeccable hospitality and customer service. Room was super luxurious. Thank you Marriott!

To my mind this place is the best to recover from a long flight and to start in the adventure of Florida after a good sleep, delicious breakfast and wonderful people from the Marriott. We will definitely come back. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

I just concluded my 3 night stay at Marriott at Tampa Airport. I've never stayed in a hotel within a Airport, what an awesome concept. The rooms are very well maintained and spacious. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so cleanliness can make or break an experience for me and i had a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating aswell. I attended a 3 day conference in their main conference room and we also had our breakfast & lunch meals there. They have nice restaurants within the air port. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others in the area for an overnight or extended stay.

Clean rooms. No bathmat. And for this level of hotel a 3rd towel would be expected. Others also have complementary bottled water in the room. Check in was quick and we were early but they still found us a room, and even bumped us up to a bigger room. Nice to see tv had Netflix option. (I will not even consider to give a hotel a 5⭐ without streaming options.)

Great hotel and very conventional. Staff very friendly. Outdoor seating areas were great. Good selection of food options available. Nice outdoor pool. Great views of the airport runways. Great place to stay if you are in Tampa Bay.
